Sostenme (Hold Me)
A SCAD Senior Thesis
Sofia, age 26, has returned home to Puebla, Mexico after her mother’s death. It is here she comes face to face with her old best friend, Ines. The two take a trip to the shore and confront the issues that led to the demise of their once inseparable bond.

The short film is dedicated to Mexican women. Their fight to live freely and safely inspires us every day.

The project was chosen by SCAD to represent the university in some of the biggest festivals in the country.

Sostenme has been chosen in over ten international festivals, including Toronto International Women's Film Festival and Cine Pobre Film Festival.
